Strengthening Families Program
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) focuses on assisting children and caregivers with independent living skills, parent education, supervised visitation, and accessing community resources. The program offers education to help children focus on money management, job skills, educational planning, legal skills, food, nutritional and health to help children be successful in living independently. The program helps caregivers increase coping skills, promote self-sufficiency, enhance parental protective capacities and provide information on community resources. The program also assesses and monitors interactions between children and caregivers when required to assure children have a safe living environment.
