Mentoring and Respite Care

Mentoring services from Northwest Community Partners provide children with differing abilities and mental health capacities a mentor to establish positive and trusting relationships. At the end of the mentoring program, Northwest Community Partners will assist the youth in identifying a caring adult or other natural support for long-term sustainability. Parental participation in the mentoring process is strongly encouraged.

Respite care services are services provided for a child on a short-term basis to ease the child’s family or another primary caregiver(s) from daily stress and care demands. Respite care can be provided in child’s home, the provider’s home or in the community.
